The chemical lab leads in the ISO/IEC17025 international laboratory management system, and with a variety of analytical instruments, have a high level, professional, experienced team of detection technology. Complete the test of various toxic and harmful substances according to directives such as heavy metal elements 、Phthalates、PAHs, in an efficient and high-standard way.

Standards

1, RoHS Testing

With an aim to tackle with the associated environmental problems, EU Parliament and European Council announced the directive of Waste ofElectrical and Electronic Equipments (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) on 27th January 2003. At the same time, China, Japan, Korea and US have also established their own Green regulation.

The European directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) holds electrical and electronic equipment companies directly responsible for the chemical compliance of their products. This means all products must conform to strict standards, provide extensive compliance documentation, and ensure that electrical and electronic products sold in the EU do not contain lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) above the legal threshold. Manufacturers, owners, retailers, and importers alike need to ensure that their products comply in order to be distributed and sold in the EU.

Partnering with us throughout your product life cycle will help you verify compliance to quality, performance and regulatory requirements. We provide a one-stop service that can help you gain access to different markets.

To help you comply with hazardous substances regulation requirement, HTW develop solution for you as below:

RoHS testing  include chemical analysis, XRF test, RoHS checking

RoHS test train ,supply chain train, RoHS Product Certification

2,  REACH

The new EU chemical policy, EU regulation of Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of chemicals  (REACH) ,was formally adopted by the Council of the European Union(EU) on 18 December 2006 and had entered into force on 1 June, 2007.

The regulation is being implemented by the European Union (EU) to better protect human health and the environment from hazardous chemicals. REACH establishes a registration system for chemical substances that requires the traceability of chemicals and identification of chemical substance at any point during its lifecycle. As such, REACH affects not only chemical manufactures, but also product manufacturers, distributors, retailers and importers that import, manufacture or place products on the EU market.

Reminder:From 28 October 2008, European Union (EU) suppliers of article which contain substances on the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) Candidate List in a concentration above 0.1% (W/W) must provide sufficient information ,available to them, to their customers on request of customers within 45 days of the receipt of this request, and SVHC present above 1 tonne per year must be notified to ECHA,  The ECHA updates the list constantly.
