NOM's main products and certification methods
Electrical and electronic products of alternating current and direct current with a voltage exceeding 24V.
Normas Oficiales Mexicanas Mexican statutory standards, mandatory safety signs in Mexico. NOM stipulates that imported products can only be sold on the market after they have passed the test and marked the NOM mark.
The licensee of NOM must be a Mexican company responsible for the quality, maintenance and reliability of the product.
Mexico has two verification units that can issue NOM Marks
NOM NYCE: The scope of verification includes all electronic and information products and data processing equipment, but does not include household appliances (except microwave ovens);
NOM ANCE: The scope of verification includes all electrical appliances and similar products (such as home appliances).

Instructions: English instructions, and corresponding Spanish instructions
Testing standard: NOM/NMX Mexican standard
Product packaging must include the following information: product name, brand name, model number and NOM certification mark
